| What are the opportunities for advancement? DISH Network is a company that recognizes and rewards people who make significant contributions. DISH Network employees receive a free satellite TV system as well as free monthly programming packages. Where is DISH Network located? While DISH Network is a large company with a global presence, most corporate-oriented positions are located in Englewood, Colorado. We do have five regional offices (Atlanta, Baltimore, Chicago, Dallas and Sacramento) as well as ten call centers throughout the U.S. Plus, DISH Network has over 200 offices across the country to support our installation department. Do you have programs to support further education? DISH Network has a tuition reimbursement program which encourages employees to take advantage of education opportunities that lead to personal and career growth. What is your selection criteria? Applicants we select demonstrate energy, a need to achieve and intelligence. These may be demonstrated through many ways, including extra-curricular involvement, internship experience, part-time jobs, GPA and other elements. How important is previous work experience? Obviously, previous work is always useful in determining an applicant’s fit and potential success. However, we also look at other experiences such as participation in student organizations, community service, and other employment to assess potential. Do you assist non-permanent residents with obtaining resident status? If you are a non-permanent resident, you may be required to show proof of your eligibility to work in the U.S. You may also be required to display specialized knowledge in your functional skill area in order to be considered for a work permit. Recent graduates are not normally given overseas assignments, but there may be future opportunities to work in our international operations centers. Additionally, we have a thriving international programming division which, though based in Colorado, works with native speakers from a multitude of nations. Where do you recruit?
