| DISH Network offers one of the most comprehensive summer internship programs and has been recognized by the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) for many of our best practices. We have designed a summer program that allows interns to experience several areas of DISH Network, while providing training opportunities and various social activities. The summer program is about ten weeks long and is packed full of events and activities. Each intern is assigned a specific value-based project that was designed to provide the opportunity to make a lasting contribution to our business. To help you with this project, each intern works with their own mentor as well as a manager. The program is also designed to gain experience working with upper level management and executives. Interns typically stay in fully furnished luxury apartments located near DISH Network, the light rail, shopping, and restaurants. |

| And what fun is all work with no play? Our program allows you to interact with students from all across the country as you experience DISH Network and Colorado. We take different trips throughout the summer to expose you to different areas of our business. We visit the Uplink Center in Cheyenne, Wyoming, to see where we broadcast programming to our satellites and where our satellite operations center is located. We visit one of our local Call Centers as well as experience a day with one of our Field Service Specialists. We even take a field trip to see where the rockets are built that put our satellites in space! We also organize activities that help interns experience the great activities that Colorado has to offer. | |||
| One of the highlights of the summer is when we hike one of Colorado’s 14er mountains. While optional, most of the interns wait all summer for this great experience. Charlie Ergen and other executives traditionally make the hike with the interns. Climbing the 14er is one of the many social activities over the summer. We look for students who are ready to make an impact during their summer internship. We view this program as an extended interview process and are focused on converting strong interns into full-time employees after graduation. We look to fill our internship openings in January and February. Please talk to your Career Center to find out if we will be coming to your school. |
