Understanding Partial Credits
If you decide to remove services in the middle of your billing period, you will receive a credit for services not received. Since DISH Network does not issue an interim billing statement for each service change, all partial month charges are reflected on your next bill (see the “Partial-month charges from last period” section as seen on the back of your bill). The following is an example of what is displayed on the next billing statement.
Removing Programming
This customer was billed on July 13th. This customer removed HBO the Works on July 15, 2004
1 Instead of sending a new bill out just for the removal of HBO, we credit the unwatched portion of HBO on your next bill. The amount of the partial month credit is $13.08 after the customer removed HBO on Jul 15, which left 28 days of charges to be credited back to the account (see Service dates from Jul 15 – Aug 13).
2 Since the channels were removed, the customer is not charged for the upcoming billing period.
